On 20 November, Senior Consultant Hana Hammouda will speak at the Westminster Business Forum policy conference “Next Steps for Subsidy Control in the UK: Effectiveness, Transparency and Options for Further Development” during the session “Assessing Impacts of Administrative Burdens and Options for Reform.” Ms. Hammouda will discuss the impact of the regime on competition, investment, and public policy delivery and the experiences of public authorities, applicants, and recipients. She will also touch on guidance and capacity, compliance and monitoring costs, and the implications of administrative burdens for subsidy control policy and potential reforms.
