On 19 February, Managing Director Fabricio Nuñez will speak in the “Energy Transition and Quantum Complexity: Valuing Change in an Uncertain Market” session at the Global Disputes Summit 2026 in Washington, DC. The panel will discuss how tribunals assess liability in cases involving subsidy reforms, phase-outs, carbon pricing, and retroactive regulatory changes and how those findings shape the damages phase, where valuation has become increasingly complex. The panel will also address the implication for determining market value of projects that are undergoing regulatory and systemic decarbonization and redesign.
Dr. Nuñez will speak alongside Xtrategy Founding Partner José Antonio Rivas, K&L Gates Partner Thomas G. Allen, and Freshfields Senior Associate Rosario Galardi.
