NERA Associate Director Nicola Tosini presented the "The Increasing Cross-Border Importance of Innovation in Merger Review" paper published in the Antitrust Magazine at ‎the NERA-sponsored Hohenheimer Oberseminar taking place at the University of Hohenheim on 19-21 April 2018. This article, co-authored by Jennifer Cascone Fauver, Dr. Subramaniam (Subbu) Ramanarayanan, and Dr. Nicola Tosini, reviews the economic mechanisms underlying how mergers might affect the parties’ incentives to innovate and discuss these mechanisms in the context of recent merger reviews and challenges brought by U.S. and EU antitrust authorities.
