NERA Associate Director Dr. Bruno Soria will participate on a panel titled “Is Antitrust Law and Regulation in the EU and the US Up to the Task in the Digital Sector?” Antitrust scrutiny of the digital sector increases, and so does the pressure on existing antitrust and competition laws to adequately address market power and abuses online. This panel will discuss what steps practitioners should take, look for direct solutions, and ask whether current policies can adequately serve the digital sector or whether it is time for stricter regulation and enforcement standards and new approaches to economic competition assessment.
