Associate Directors Dr. Garrett Glasgow and Dr. Chris Stomberg wrote “Consumer Welfare and Privacy in Antitrust Cases—An Economic Perspective” in the American Bar Association (ABA) Antitrust Fall 2020 Magazine (Volume 35). Dr. Glasgow and Dr. Stomberg discuss how one might determine if consumers are being harmed through the collection, sharing, and selling of their personal information, how that harm might be quantified, and how one might determine if a proposed remedy would increase consumer welfare.
