On 27 January, Consultant Daniel Brown spoke at the ABA Consumer Financial Services Committee Business Law Section Winter Meeting 2026. Dr. Brown participated in the panel “Auto Finance in an Economic Downturn,” during which he explored issues the auto finance industry faces as the economy takes a downward turn. Topics of discussion included default servicing and repossession compliance issues, impacts on origination and credit decisioning, and emerging state and federal enforcement and private litigation issues that may arise.
