NERA Senior Vice President Dr. Christian Dippon joined other industry experts at "Update on Key US and International Wireless Issues: Legal and Regulatory, Market, and Technical Views -- What is in Store for 2009?" hosted by the Federal Communications Bar Association in Washington, DC on 16 April 2009. Dr. Dippon discussed the key international regulatory and competitive issues that wireless carriers will be facing, including spectrum valuation and allocation, universal service obligations, and unbundling. He also addressed the legal challenges surrounding mobile phone contracts, prices for roaming and texting, and exclusionary contracts between handset and service providers.
