As an antitrust economist, Emilie Feyler has more than a decade of experience analyzing economic issues in litigation and investigations across a range of industries. Dr. Feyler has consulted on damages, merits, and class certification matters to prepare expert reports and testimony in antitrust cases involving cartels, abuse of dominance, exclusionary conduct, tie-ins, and breach of contract.

Dr. Feyler has expertise in evaluating the competitive effects of proposed mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures. Her experience spans a number of industries, including digital platforms, telecommunications, health insurance, consumer products, and financial products. 

Before joining NERA, Dr. Feyler conducted research for the United Nations and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. She has also served as an econometrics and statistics teaching assistant for graduate students.

Her research interests include the intersection of technology and antitrust, and she has published articles on the competitive implications of algorithms and artificial intelligence. Dr. Feyler currently serves as a Senior Fellow of the GW Competition and Innovation Lab at The George Washington University.
