Dr. Jordan Milev has been retained in numerous litigation and arbitration matters to conduct economic analysis and provide expert opinion and under-oath testimony. He has presented findings in regulatory investigations, testified in bench and jury trials, been retained by plaintiffs and defendants in criminal and civil cases, and testified as an economic expert in domestic and international arbitration proceedings. Dr. Milev’s work relates to internal investigations, government and regulatory enforcement actions, consumer and securities class actions, M&A litigation and shareholder disputes, private commercial litigation, and domestic and international arbitration. His experience covers a variety of industries, including oil and gas, mining, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, technology, media, financial services, insurance, manufacturing, construction, and real estate.

Katie Orlandi works with utilities, governments, regulatory agencies, ISOs, and corporations on matters related to power, capacity, and renewable energy markets and auctions. She is an expert in the design and implementation of auctions and competitive bidding processes for products including wholesale power and capacity. She also uses this expertise to meet wide-ranging renewable energy procurement goals and policy objectives for her clients. Her work has had a direct impact on the development and expansion of renewable energy markets and opportunities. She has testified before a state regulatory commission.

Dr. Soren Tang Sorensen has more than 15 years of experience advising clients on auction design and bidding strategies in diverse markets. He has extensive experience with spectrum auctions, having advised clients on spectrum auctions in more than 40 countries in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and North America. Dr. Sorensen helps his clients with auction design and implementation and provides advice on bidding strategies for mobile network operators. He frequently provides on-site strategy support during live auctions, and he has experience with all common auction formats for spectrum auctions. Dr. Sorensen has developed software for complex optimization problems.

Dr. Will Taylor provides expert analysis and advice to clients across New Zealand and Australia in matters involving antitrust, regulatory, energy, and financial economics. Dr. Taylor advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, contracting issues, and allegations of anticompetitive practices. His case experience includes analysis of the antitrust implications of technological disruption in the pay TV, broadband, and news/media markets.  Dr. Taylor also has extensive experience in the design and operation of regulatory regimes and access pricing for fixed and mobile communications services, gas and electricity networks, airports, ports, and dairy. His blend of competition economics and energy experience makes him a highly sought-after expert in the energy sector advising governments, policymakers, and market participants on wholesale market design, reliability measures, transmission pricing, and market power assessment and mitigation.
